North America’s first UL Certified inspection robot for hazardous industrial environments
We’re proud to announce the North American launch of our UL Certified ExR-2.5 inspection robot at the Energy Drone &Robotics Summit (EDRC) in Houston, 22–24 June.
This marks another important milestone for ExRobotics and the wider oil and gas industry, as the ExR-2.5 becomes the first and only UL Certified autonomous inspection robot designed for hazardous industrial environments in North America.
Why UL Certification matters
As industrial infrastructure ages and workforce shortages continue to grow, operators are under increasing pressure to maintain safety, compliance and uptime.
UL 6260 provides a recognised safety framework for robotic inspection technology in hazardous locations, creating a trusted pathway for autonomous inspection deployment at scale.
